Lately

This month has been a rodeo at our house.  We started March with a visit from one of my very best friends, miss Victoria Clemmons.  Victoria and I were roommates during our semester abroad in Jerusalem and have been best friends ever since.  She stayed with us while she was here and we had the best time.  We set her up on a double date, visited the planetarium, saw the Jerusalem iMax, went to a Jerusalem Reunion, and overall had a great time.

Shortly after Victoria left, our house was hit with the sickness bug.  I had a terrible cold the first week of March, got better for a day, and then caught another cold.  I’m finally nearly recovered, but I was sick for almost the entire month.  Eric somehow managed to escape the cold during his internship, but he caught it this week.  It’s good he can stay home and sleep all day!

Other notable events include:

·       Going to a Jazz Game

·       Eric finishing his internship

·       Going to a fancy dinner at Flemings (yum!)

·       Celebrating Jake’s birthday at Asian Star

·       Went shopping in Park City

·       Watched House of Cards – amazing

Overall we’ve had a great month and we are looking forward to the future!  Eric goes back to school in May, so he’s spent plenty of time since his internship ended figuring our classes and planning the last semester of his Bachelor’s degree.  He also met with a counselor for the Master’s program.  Things are starting to get exciting and we can’t wait for the future!
