Run with Mia Love

Tonight Alison and I went to the run with Mia Love rally. It was held at Thanksgiving Point. We signed up a few weeks ago when we heard Mitt Romney would be there. We are big Mitt Romney fans.

It was a ton of fun. There were so many interesting people there to support Mia - Mayors, sports figures, County Commissioners, State Legislators, Jason Chaffetz, Governor Gary Herbert, Josh Romney, and of course Mitt.

I was really impressed by Governor Gary Herbert. He had so much energy and such a down-to-earth attitude. I am a big fan. He talked about the momentum of Utah. Utah has ranked first in many areas, and he announced Utah was just ranked as the happiest state in the Union - we live in such a great place.

Mitt and Mia both gave great speeches. I am excited to vote for Mia in November. After their speeches, they both came down to shake hands. Alison tried to get up there, but it was crazy. There was so much energy - Mitt was the best. Josh introduced his dad and told a story about Mitt going to Disneyworld right after the election. They were walking past one of the lines when someone recognized Mitt and everyone in line started cheering and chanting for Mitt. When he came out we were all chanting. We wish he would run again in 2016.
