Skylee Dallas loves Baseball

Yesterday, we got to take little Skylee Dallas to a Bee's game!  Eric picked her up from preschool and took her to our place.  She was so happy when I got home from work.  We watched Sesame Street videos for a bit and then went to the game.

Skylee wasn't thrilled when we wouldn't let her climb over the fence

When we first got there, our first order of business was to ride on the safety train with her.  She loved it.  She kept saying "A ride? A ride?"  It was adorable.  We went and got set up and she kept pointing to the train and saying "choo-choo."  I went and took her again.  She definitely loved it.

After the second train ride, my parents arrived at the game.  Skylee loved running around on the grass and I literally had to pull her off of the fence separating the grass seats from the outfield.  That led to a minor meltdown.  My Mom rode with her on the train again and then we got some food.  Skylee loved the watermelon. I tried to cut some chunks off for her, but then she just fed them to me and wouldn't eat them.  She wanted to eat the watermelon like a big girl.  My Dad also got some ribs and she kept asking for a bite.  Eric gave her a bit off the bone and she loved it.  She wanted more.  My Dad cut her a few little pieces, but she didn't want THOSE ones, she wanted them off the bone.  It was precious.

The Bee's also have a bounce house play area.  Skylee was in heaven.  There were some other big kids in there that were pretty rough, but she was just laughing and bouncing along with them.  It was so cute.  We were only there for about 20 minutes and then they closed the area when it started getting dark. When we got Skylee out of the bounce house we had a MAJOR meltdown.  We finally got her calmed down and then Eric went and played with her on the grass. He tried to teach her how to roll down the hill. She didn't quite get the idea. She would roll sideways across the hill, but not down. Everyone sitting around us thought she was adorable. On our way out we saw Bumble, the Bees mascot. When we were walking over to see him Skylee turned around and said, "Woah" to Eric. It was so cute. She also kept saying, "bee, bee."

Ultimately, we had so much fun with little Skylee Dallas.  I hope we get to take her to lots more games!
