Over the past couple of weeks, they have completed laying the foundation for our home. It has been exciting to watch it go up. We stop by our lot nearly every day and we have been able to document each step of the process.
First, they finished digging the hole.

Then they prepped for the footings.

And they poured the footings.

Then it took a few days for the footings to cure.

Then they prepped to pour the foundation.

Then they poured the foundation.

And they filled in the area around the foundation.

Finally, they poured the concrete floors. This happened while we were visiting Disneyland so we aren't 100% sure when the floors were poured. They have actually been poured for a few days now.

We are back in waiting mode. The next step will be framing. The home building market is so busy right now that they said it could be 3 weeks before they can get a team out to frame our home. We are excited about the progress they have made and can hardly wait for the next steps.
