The past couple of weeks has been very busy and exciting. We are almost to the end of the home building process. We recently locked our loan so we should be in our house within a month. We can't wait. Every day we go by the house we see progress being made. This week especially more has gotten done than we expected. We were talking to our superintendent the other day and he said there is a chance we will even be done early.
Alison has been out of town this week so I took lots of pictures to document the daily progress at our house.
They finished painting the outside of the house and added the soffit.

They also installed our cabinets.
A few days later they finished adding the flooring on the main level.

At some point, they also added the fixtures in the half and second bathrooms and added the surround in our second bathroom.

The next day they installed our granite countertops in the kitchen.

A couple of days later they installed granite countertops in the bathrooms. They also added sinks and toilets.

They are also preparing to pour our driveway, sidewalk, and the stairs in front of our house.
