The last couple of weeks has been very busy. I haven't been able to visit the house nearly as much as I would like. The good news is my busy season is nearly over and hopefully, soon I will be able to resume daily visits to see the progress on our house. In the meantime Alison has been stopping by every chance she gets and we visit a few times on the weekends.
They finished the drywall and added a door casing on the main floor. On the second floor, they added all of the base and case. They also added our banisters on the stairs.

This week they worked on painting the inside of the house. By Friday they were finished!

On Saturday they started to paint the outside of our house. We love the colors we chose, both inside and out!

There is still a lot of work to be done, but it is really starting to take shape. Hopefully, on Monday they finish painting the outside, and then this week they either get the floors or cabinets in. This is a fun stage of building. It feels like things are changing pretty much every day. Soon we will be able to start counting down the days until we are done.
