Happy Birthday Tex!

Today is Tex's birthday! It is crazy to think that he has been with us for almost a year. This time last year our lives were very different. We were closing on our house when we got the news that our little pup was born. Little did we know how much joy he would bring. Tex is a very mellow, happy dog. He loves to catch his Frisbee. Anytime I pull it out of the pantry he gets so excited and can't wait for me to open the door so he can run and chase it. He is also very snuggly. He loves to be by Alison and I and will promptly roll over and show you his belly if you reach down to pet him. We love taking him on walks around our neighborhood and Daybreak lake. Tex is an awesome dog. We are so glad he is a part of our lives.

To celebrate we made Tex a birthday cake. It had a lot of peanut butter and other random ingredients. Alison was a little skeptical about whether or not he would want to eat it, but he loved it. He also got to share it with his good buddy Blu. He could not have been happier!
