The Good News of the Gospel

The good news of the Gospel of Christ is that He has Risen and through his atonement, we will all live again.  Here are some of the things that I know to be true:

Christ atoned for our sins at Gethsemane after being betrayed by Judas.

He was arrested at Gethsemane and crossed the Kidron Valley to Caiphus' palace, where it is believed he walked on these stairs.

Peter denied Christ three times and then wept bitterly.  

Christ was held overnight and then tried the next morning by Pilate who washed his hands of the Savior. He was mocked and flogged nearly to death.

He carried his cross to Golgotha where he was nailed to the cross and crucified for all to see. 

Three days later Christ rose from the grave.  He is not here for He is Risen.

The Good News of the Gospel is that Christ is risen.  And because of him and his infinite atonement, families can be together forever.
