Practice

In a little over a week, God-willing, and as long as we don't catch Covid, we will be on our way to Africa. This trip has been years in the making now. Covid has made it so much more difficult, but as we inch closer it feels like it might actually happen. We have been busy preparing and assembling the gear we need for this trip. That gear included a couple of pairs of binoculars. We decided to practice using them before we head to Africa. We went to Antelope Island State park. It was a great afternoon/evening. We saw hundreds of buffalo and got plenty of practice sighting them with our binoculars. 

The herds far in the distance gave us good practice of sighting wildlife with our binoculars

Hopefully the next animals we sight are in the wilds of Africa.
