7th Annual Accounting Friends Christmas Party

This year we were back in person for our annual Christmas party.

This year we hosted a dinner party. I spent all day slow cooking barbecue brisket and beef short ribs on our Traeger. They were both delicious.

Alison made rolls which, as always, were delicious. We also had some gratin potatoes, bacon wrapped asparagus, and fruit. Our friends brought some salad and dessert. It was a good spread.

Our party was a little smaller this year than in years past. We missed our friends who weren't able to make it, but we were glad to spend time Kyle, Sarah, Cameron, and Ali. We realized this is the first time we have all gotten together this year. We had a delightful evening catching up on each others lives. This is one of my favorite holiday traditions because one of my favorite things about this time of year is that it reminds us to pause and spend time with the people who matter to us. Here's to many more years of this holiday tradition.
