2 Months!

Today, we’re celebrating a beautiful milestone: two months with our sweet Madeline Joy. It’s hard to believe how quickly these early weeks have flown by, and yet it feels like she’s been part of us forever. Watching her grow and change every day has been a profound experience—each moment filled with wonder, laughter, and the occasional surprise!

Madeline is already starting to show her personality. She’s full of curiosity, her wide eyes constantly exploring everything around her. Whether it’s her fascination with the morning light coming through our window or the way she studies our faces, she has a way of seeing the world that reminds us to savor even the simplest things. And when she locks eyes with us and flashes a gummy smile—it’s pure magic.

This month, Madeline has been a champion cuddler, often snuggling up with us in a warm blanket for her favorite contact naps. There’s a calmness to these moments, and her little breaths are a gentle reminder to pause and enjoy the quiet. She loves our family walks around Daybreak Lake, especially when Tex trots along beside us, and hears the birds sing as we stroll together.
